Taste of the Caribbean has an excellent selection of the island dishes, but sadly is as far as the Caribbean itself from anywhere near this town (DC). If you happen to pass through the area, I definitely recommend checking this place out!
Sarku Japan is your standard Japanese-style chain that offers predominantly grilled eats and some sushi rolls. Definitely not bad for the price, but even in the area there are far, far better offerings in the same category.
A spacious restaurant and catering company in between auto repair shops, Sammiches Catering offers far more than just sammiches and all of it is pretty good. Prices are just right too!
Methi is a nice Indian and Nepalese restaurant not far from Wheaton Metro Station in Silver Spring, MD. Good selection of dishes from both cuisines, and they taste great! I definitely recommend checking this place out of you are in the area.
Modern Market is a hip American restaurant that serves creative and home-style type dishes of a wide variety a block away from Franklin Square park. I definitely recommend checking them out.

Nu Vegan Cafe offers a very wide variety of vegan fare where chicken most certainly won’t taste like chicken nor is there real cheese in a quesadilla. Don’t know how you hipsters do it, but unless you have a strong medical reason, please eat real and honest food.
