What a mess this con was compared to Comic Con…. Most of the security never even let you out of the building for fresh air and threatened having to go allll the way back around, pass security again, only to be able to get back inside. “Show” only started at 1pm which left cattle pens of folks who showed up around reasonable 10am, like myself, to wait for 2 hours in a huge queue….. and to add icing on the cake – huge queues were then funneled through but 2 escalators and then 2 more to finally enter the main dealer’s floor…. Cheaper than NYCC or not, definitely not attending this hot mess again. The good old times were when NYCC and NY Anime Festival shared the floor with virtually zero modern problems about a decade ago. That said, armed with GFX50R that pops out 100mb files, I went for quality over quantity:
